Benbros Model Cars

The company of Benbros (London) Ltd was a British toy company operating from 1953 to 1965. Founded by two brothers, Jack and Nathan Beneson, the name a contraction of "Beneson Brothers" and were based at 145 Gosport Road Walthamstow.  Benbros model cars can sometimes be difficult to trackdown.
The popularity of diecast toys as collectibles developed in the 1950s, as their detail and quality increased. Consequently, more companies entered the field, including the Corgi brand, produced by Mettoy, which appeared in 1956 and pioneered the use of interiors and clear plastic windows in their models
